Living a True Life: Gratitude, Repentance, and Freedom in Christ
사랑하는 하나님 아버지,
오늘 제 마음 깊은 곳에서 이렇게 묻습니다.
“왜 사람들은 가짜의 삶을 살아갈까요?”
그리고 솔직히 고백합니다.
저 또한 때때로 가면을 쓰고, 진짜 내 모습을 숨긴 채 살아온 적이 있었음을 인정합니다.
주님,
이 세상은 성공, 외모, 부, 명예를 진짜 행복처럼 포장합니다.
그러나 결국 그 모든 것은 텅 비어 있고, 우리 영혼을 만족시키지 못합니다.
하나님 없이 살 때, 우리는 진짜 자신을 잃어버리고,
남이 만든 기준에 맞춰 가짜의 삶을 살게 됩니다.
아버지,
제가 더 이상 세상의 소리에 속지 않게 하소서.
사람들의 인정과 비교가 아니라,
당신 안에서만 내 존재의 가치를 찾게 하소서.
예수님,
당신은 참된 진리이십니다.
“진리를 알지니 진리가 너희를 자유롭게 하리라”(요한복음 8:32)고 말씀하셨습니다.
이제는 진리가신 주님께 나아가기를 원합니다.
탕자처럼 방탕하고 헛된 길을 걷던 나를 향해
달려오시며 품어주셨던 아버지의 사랑을 믿습니다.
주님, 제 안에 있는 거짓을 끊어내고,
진짜 사랑과 기쁨을 누리며 살아가게 하소서.
세상의 거짓된 행복이 아닌,
오직 주님 안에 있는 충만한 생명을 붙잡게 하소서.
오늘도 저를 새롭게 하시고,
당신의 진리로 나를 자유롭게 하소서.

Dear loving Father,
Today, from deep within my heart, I ask,
“Why do people live false lives?”
And honestly, I confess that I too have sometimes worn masks,
hiding my true self from the world.
Lord,
this world teaches us to chase after success, appearance, wealth, and fame,
as if they are the true sources of happiness.
But in the end, all these things are empty and cannot satisfy our souls.
When we live apart from You, we lose our true identity
and begin to live false lives based on the standards of others.
Father,
help me not to be deceived by the voices of this world anymore.
Let me find my true worth not in the approval of others,
but only in You.
Jesus,
You are the Truth.
You said, “You shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free” (John 8:32).
I want to run to You, the Truth, and find true freedom in You.
Like the father who ran toward his prodigal son,
I believe that You embrace me even after all my wandering and mistakes.
Lord, cut away every falsehood within me,
and let me live in true love, true joy, and true freedom.
Help me not to hold onto the world’s counterfeit promises,
but to cling to the fullness of life that is found only in You.
Renew me today, Lord.
Set me free by Your truth.
Let my life reflect Your grace and love.
